John Cervetto brings more than ten years of professional experience working in local government, nonprofit, and community-based settings, with a focus on systems change through collaboration and innovation. As a Practice Director at RDA, Mr. Cervetto manages a robust portfolio of planning, grant writing, evaluation, organizational development, and research projects focused on workforce and economic development, adult education, and social services. John specializes in coordinating stakeholders across systems for more effective service delivery, and excels in qualitative research, interviewing and group facilitation, financial analysis and planning, systems mapping, and data visualization.
Prior to RDA, John interned at Lifelong Medical Care in Berkeley, where he led an initiative develop an integrated care model for indigent and mentally ill patients. He also worked at the Alameda County Office of AIDS Administration providing research and support on evaluations of contractors receiving funding for HIV/AIDS services. Additionally, John worked as both an administrator and direct service provider at residential treatment facilities for emotionally disturbed children and youth. John is also a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer serving in the Kyrgyz Republic from 2007-2009 as a health promotion consultant to rural healthcare workers.
