Ann Connolly, M.Sc.

Software Developer

Ann joins RDA as a Software Developer and brings a breadth of industry experience with her. A native of Ireland, she works to enhance the software systems RDA has developed for clients in education, government and policing. After graduating from college, Ann relocated to California where she gained valuable experience in Web and Database development with EMI Music at a time when the music industry was transforming in the digital arena. She was a key developer of a service used by over 100 public music websites from a central data repository.

She joined MySpace.com shortly thereafter during the infancy of social networking and she was part of the original development team as the service grew from 20 million to 100 million users. She was also involved in the development of the first mobile app. She has an expert level knowledge in the full stack of Microsoft technologies from database design to web development and the cloud-based architecture Azure.

In recent years she has developed a keen interest in the health sciences and public health policy and is keen to bring her expertise in data and software development to help contribute to RDAs mission to improve health and human services in local communities.
